Sugar
The Company manufactures and sells the Cup brand and the Kururu brand of sugar, and subsidiary DAIICHI TOGYO CO., LTD. manufactures and sells the SEVEN brand of sugar etc.
The Company group's diverse product lineup includes items for both home and commercial use. Four production bases are located in the Kanto, Chubu, Kansai, and Kyushu region, and production is carried out at a well-balanced number of production bases throughout Japan.
Furthermore, as part of our quality control system, each of our production bases has acquired FSSC22000 certification, an international standard for food safety management systems, and we are committed to thorough quality control and continuous improvement.
Food&Wellness
The Food&Wellness segment has two primary businesses: Food science and Fitness.
The food science business includes functional materials, food additives, edible films, and sugar-derived and sweetener-related products. In collaboration with the Neo-functional Ingredients Department and group companies, we will strengthen R&D and marketing while proactively promoting investment.
In the fitness business, subsidiary Nissin Wellness Co., Ltd. has been developing its business since the dawn of the industry, opening "Do Sports Plaza" in 1972, and currently operates gyms in the Kanto region.
Apart from both businesses, the subsidiary New Port Industry Co., Ltd. owns refrigerated warehouses mainly along the Tokyo Bay coast and in the Chiba Minato area and operates a warehousing business for storage, cargo handling, and harbor transportation services.
